EVERYDAY DEVOTION

Deity attire for daily worship

Daily attire has a place in a familiar dressing routine. Begin with the fit and the way you use each garment, then choose the colours and decorative details you enjoy.

01 / EVERYDAY DEVOTION

Let your dressing routine guide the brief.

Tell us which deity the attire is for and how you prefer to dress it. You may be looking for a complete set, a replacement garment or several outfits that work with existing accessories. That context helps establish what needs to be discussed before choosing a decorative design.

If a current outfit fits well, photograph it on the deity and explain the parts you want to retain. If something is awkward in use, describe it clearly: a length you would like to change, a garment shape you prefer or an extra piece of coordinating cloth you need. Practical preferences belong in the design conversation from the beginning.

02 / EVERYDAY DEVOTION

Discuss the actual fabric and finish.

Our custom attire includes fabric choices such as silk, satin and cotton, with embroidery and decorative details selected around the design. A fabric name or a photograph does not explain every aspect of the finished garment. Ask about the material being proposed, its lining where applicable and the construction of the pieces you will use.

Show the amount of decoration you prefer. You may want a clear border, a small repeated motif or a more detailed embroidered design. Discuss how those areas will sit on the garment and how they coordinate with the ornaments you already have.

Keep measurements and fit in view.

Record measurements with units and identify the starting and ending points. Label information separately for each deity in a pair or a larger group. Mention whether a length includes a pedestal or stops at a particular point on the existing outfit.

Use our measurement preparation guide to organise your first enquiry. You do not need to guess every dimension in advance. Share what you know and ask which additional measurements are needed for the chosen garment.

04 / EVERYDAY DEVOTION

Think about the pieces you will reuse.

If you want several daily outfits, consider how their colours will sit beside the same mukut, mala and backdrop. Related palettes or a repeated accent can make it easier to bring changing garments into a coordinated setting. Equally, you may prefer each outfit to have its own distinctive appearance.

Photograph the accessories you intend to keep. Discuss the finishing details together with the dress so the reference is complete. A collection can be planned around your own preferences without requiring every outfit to repeat the same design.

05 / EVERYDAY DEVOTION

Ask about care for the finished attire.

Fabric, lining, embroidery and attached embellishments all contribute to the care requirements of a garment. Ask the maker for handling, cleaning and storage instructions for the particular outfit. A general instruction for a fabric alone may not account for the decorative work attached to it.

When you are ready to enquire, share the deity photographs, measurements, pieces required, fabric preferences and examples of the finish you like. Our daily worship attire service is a starting point for discussing those details. If you also need an outfit for a celebration, identify that as a separate part of the enquiry so its design and schedule can be considered clearly.

You can begin a custom daily poshak enquiry with the deity’s name and your preferences. A complete set of measurements is not needed to ask which information should be prepared.
